Orthodontics has given me the opportunity to work with and learn from people in all walks of life. Meeting so many different people gives me an appreciation for how everyone contributes to society in their own unique way. It takes all different kinds of people and personalities to make the world work!
EDUCATION AND CONTINUING EDUCATION
Prior to becoming a Board Certified orthodontist, I attended the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry for both my DDS and Certificate in Orthodontics. After practicing orthodontics for more than 20 years, a lot has changed in my profession! I always strive to provide our patients with the latest methods and the most up-to-date technology.
As part of my continuing education, I attend the American Association of Orthodontists Annual Meeting, the Super Schulman Orthodontic Study Group and Interdisciplinary Study Club, and various other meetings and seminars throughout each year. By attending many hours of continuing education, my family is able to offer our patients the most current and up to date procedures as well as use of the most advanced orthodontic bracket systems.
IN THE OFFICE
The opportunity to come to work everyday and make a difference in someone’s life is truly amazing! Regardless of how big or little the task, being able to be a bright spot in someone’s day or in their life is very powerful. I am thankful for and humbled by the many opportunities I have to do just that.
Our practice is a wonderful place to work, and a great place to visit! When you walk in the door, you will be greeted with a smiling face! From then on and throughout your orthodontic journey, you will enjoy a lively and family oriented atmosphere, including the famous Frugé photo booth, and the ongoing contests we offer.
FAMILY LIFE
I am a native of Ville Platte, LA, and have been living in Baton Rouge for more than 20 years. My wife, Susie, and I love this community and are proud to be raising our children here. We have four children named Emily, Reece, Elizabeth, and William.
In my spare time, I love rooting for all LSU sports, and also enjoy hunting, fishing, cooking Cajun dishes, and spending time with my family!
